Josh Bendeich
After undertaking work experience during school as an architectural draftsman, Josh did a semester of Architectural Drafting after completing Year 12. He soon realised this wasnβt the path for him and took a job at Kentucky Fried Chicken as a kitchen hand and then as a shift supervisor and had a second job for a time at the Reject Shop.
Twelve months later he walked past a bakery saw an ad and jumped at the chance of doing a combined baking and pastry apprenticeship as he had always enjoyed making cakes and cooking. Once this was completed he worked at Johnny Baker as a pastry chef, worked his way up to Sous chef, then Head Chef and is now part owner of the business and an award winning baker.
