P&P supports our local industries, providing schools with insight into the skills, roles and career paths that these businesses offer. P&P provides students in their last years of primary school with exposure to the world of work through a range of innovative experiences with local businesses underpinned by a robust curriculum. The program develops student self-knowledge, confidence and aspirations for future pathways.
This dynamic partnership between the lead partner Goldfields LLEN, cross-sectoral primary schools, local governments and businesses gives students a taste of the world of work and fosters an appetite to succeed.
Primary school students engage with over 60 local businesses and their employees in their workplaces. These authentic experiences lift student aspirations and reinforce the value of completing their education.
