Industry in the Goldfields region is diverse, innovative and growing rapidly. To maintain this, our future workforce needs to be engaged with business. Goldfields LLEN is the connector between education and business with employment for young people at the centre of our focus. We implement a range of programs facilitate young peoples pathways to the workforce.

The Passions & Pathways program is a dynamic partnership between the Goldfields LLEN, cross-sectoral primary schools, local and state governments and businesses. This program gives Year 6 students a taste of the ‘world of work’ by engaging with local businesses in their workplace.

Our work placement programs offer secondary students a wide range of opportunities to experience the world of work before they decide on a career pathway. The Goldfields LLEN helps to offer workplace insight, engagement programs and a range of tailored work placement options that benefit both students and businesses alike.

The Young Industry Ambassador program gives young people an opportunity to inspire the next generation of workers and develop leadership skills in the process. This experience is valuable for students, young trainees apprentices, employees and entrepreneurs.
